Question by Joan of Darkness: If you have a computer networked to a server, what would make one of the computers disconnect?
There are about 10 computers networked to a server. A couple of those computers keep disconnecting. By disconnected I mean that each day it says that the network drive for the same 2 computers are disconnected.
What could cause this? Also, why would the network drives for 2 computers disconnect and not all.

Those two computers are losing their network connection for some reason. Perhaps they are hibernating during the night when nobody is there. Perhaps they are plugged into a switch that's going bad. Perhaps its incorrect DNS settings. Could be any number of things.
